I believe that most people are looking for two things that they are not getting from their elected leaders: the truth and real leadership. The truth is that this nation is financially broke. Until we face up to that fact and stop trying to print and borrow our way to prosperity, we cannot start the process of getting our financial house in order. The promises already made by our government through social security, medicare and other entitlements already exceed 55 trillion dollars. This is $200,000 of debt for every family in America that is already owed to the government to pay for programs currently in place. We must begin by electing new leaders that are willing to stand up and do what is right for the future of our children and grandchildren, and not politicians who think no further than the next election; much less to the next generation.
